Cyber Crime
Police Station of
Hyderabad City is
inaugurated at CCS, DD,
premises by Sri. A.K.
Khan, IPS, Commissioner
of Police, Hyderabad
City, on 24-08-2010.
In the wake of
increasing Cyber crimes
in Hyderabad city the
then DCP, D.D. Dr. R.S.
Praveen Kumar IPS,
started the Cyber Crime
Cell in the middle of
2008 with one SI and 3
Pcs. Then a proposal for
creation of new Cyber
Crime Police Station to
Hyderabad city was sent
to the government of A.P.
Subsequently Govt. of
A.P. has sanctioned new
Cyber Crime police
station to the Hyderabad
city vide G.O. Ms. No.
10, Home (PSC) Dept.,
dated 16-01-2010, with the
following strength.
In pursuance of
the orders of
the Govt of A.P.,
DGP of A.P.
issued a counter
memo vide Rc.No.
37/s3/2009,
dated 26-06-2010
for
establishment of
new Cyber Crime
Police Station.
As such
Commissioner of
police,
Hyderabad City
sanctioned the
building and
necessary
infrastructure
to this newly
created Cyber
Crime Police
station.

maintain all
the systems,
investigation
hardware and

This lab
will provide
all
assistance
in
collection,
processing
and
analyzing
digital
evidence.
